What is this?
evil.vote is a crowdsourced opinion poll. You vote for who you think is evil and why. The leaderboard ranks people by total votes — revealing who the world sees as most evil, not who we declare in advance.
Who can be listed?
- Must have an English Wikipedia article
- Must be a living human (verified via Wikidata)
- Anyone can vote via search or the leaderboard
How voting works
No sign-in required. Vote for as many different people as you like — once per person. Search or pick from the leaderboard, then optionally say why. Rankings update as votes come in; we want a wide spread of names, not everyone piling on the same headline figure.
After you vote, explore how voters in different countries voted on the Explore page. We store the country from your IP when you vote — not precise location.
Optionally leave a short reason (280 characters max). Reasons appear under a random pseudonym — never your email or real name.
Vote reasons
Reasons are optional user opinions, not verified statements of fact. Other visitors may upvote reasons they find persuasive. You can report any reason you believe is abusive or inappropriate via the report link on each entry.

No accusation of guilt. Appearing on the leaderboard or receiving votes does not mean we (or any voter) assert that a person has committed a crime, acted immorally in any objective sense, or is “evil” as a matter of fact. “Evil” here is subjective, rhetorical, and user-defined.
User-generated content. Reasons and upvotes are submitted anonymously by users. We do not pre-screen every submission. We do not adopt, verify, or endorse user content. Where required by law, we act on valid reports of unlawful or abusive material.
Third-party information. Names, images, and biographical summaries are sourced from Wikipedia and Wikidata under their respective licences. We do not guarantee that this third-party information is accurate, complete, or up to date.
Public figures. Most listed individuals are widely known public figures. The site facilitates public discussion and criticism of matters of public interest. That does not remove anyone's legal rights.
Removal and corrections. If someone is deceased, not a living human, listed in error, or you believe content is unlawful or abusive, please contact us. We may remove or restrict content at our discretion.
No reliance. Do not rely on this site for news, legal, or factual determinations about any person. Use of this site is at your own risk. See our Terms of Service for limitations of liability.
